After you sail out of the Spanish port, the location of the player's
sprite is offset, upper and to the right, so that it's hooked onto the
upper-right corner of the main view window. That is:

The game works fine otherwise; even the collision detection is
performed at the "X" above, apparently. But it's awfully hard to
play that way ;).
BTW, the problem manifests itself on A2000/030/KS3.1 as well, so
I don't think it's 060/chipset/Gfx-card related.
