Well, if you have already jump button, up should just be used to climb up (?), or UP+FIRE (high kick). This is the how all games with jump button I've seen work ;)

Makes the gameplay even more accurate to separate high kick or sword over the head moves and jump (you can't by mistake jump when you just wanted a high kick f.e.)
