Summary0005509: Hello! I hope this note finds you and yours well. I have an original version of
DescriptionGameVersion: english,ntsc,6 original disks
SlaveVersion: I'm sorry I don't know how to answer this.

Hello! I hope this note finds you and yours well.
I have an original version of Dungeon Master 2. My NTSC box on the side says the game supports A1200, 2000, 2500, 3000, 4000.
I have played this game on an A2000 running OS 1.3 and a GeForce 030@40Mhz. The game is extremely slow at times but it totally works.
I installed the game (using original disks) on my A3000, which has a zz9000 and CyberStorm 060 @ 50Mhz. Before even installing the accelerator, I could tell the game was working - except it would crash within 2 minutes of playing. Something about P96 was killing it. After installing the Cyberstorm, I could tell the game was very smooth, but was still crashing due to the video issues.
So! I installed WHDLoad - just the base package - in the hopes it might "protect" the game from the video stuff. However, now when I try to launch the WHDLoad version, I get a pop-up alert telling me the game *requires* the AGA chipset.
This is not the case with the original disks. The game does support AGA, but it is not required at all.
Is this a fixable problem? Is it possible to make the WHDLoad version not require AGA - when the original disks don't?
Best regards,
Eric

Hello!

I can confirm that your updates to the slave WORK. Thank you SO much for fixing things to work on non-AGA machines. (And, all the other features you added are really cool!!)

The performance of the game seems to have taken a bit of a hit - not sure there's much you can do to make the game perform better. But you've definitely addressed the issues I'd reported. Thank you very, very much for all that you do.
