Summary | 0004925: Randomly receive "The data/disk-files are damaged or it is an unsupported version." error when launching
Description | When launching IK+, I randomly (though more often than not) receive a "The data/disk-files are damaged or it is an unsupported version." error and the game crashes out before launching. All other WHDload games work fine, IK+ is the only one I consistently have problems with. When it does load, it's fine. Have tried: - Multiple different MaxTransfer settings - Multiple versions of the slave - FFS and PFS (returned to 0x1fe00 Max Transfer) - Re-ripped a fresh version off from a different image source - All common slave settings (NOCACHE, NOAUTOVEC, NOVBRMOVE, NTSC etc. etc.) - Tried with Furia settings changed too - ide speedup on/off, shadowrom on/off, addmem on/off. Always works with my SD card in WinUAE, just not in my actual 600 consistently. I'd say it's just my 600, but it works perfectly for the 200+ other games I have installed.
Steps To Reproduce | Launch IK+ slave... most times, it will crash. Other times, it goes through to the intro screen and it's fine.

Have 8MB of FastMem, not 0MB sorry. |

Please use option FileLog and attach the created .whdl_log for both cases (working/unsupported data) here to this issue. |

Uploaded log file with multiple failed launches prior to the final successful launch. Seems checksums are everywhere! |

So because the CRC is different on different runs the data is corrupt after loading. Strange that this should happen only with one game. Did you try to setting option NoMemReverse in s:whdload.prefs? |

Been away - just tried the NoMemReverse option... no change unfortunately. Agree, very weird that it's just happening to IK+! |
