Summary | 0004291: Feature request for enhanced CD32-pad controls
Description | This version of After Burner is IMO a pretty good port with nice graphics and catchy music. The single-button controls are kinda awful, though. For a left/right barrel roll one needs to double tap the controller to that direction and missiles are fired by pressing space on the keyboard (joystick button is for cannons only). It would be lovely to be able to use the CD32 pad for this, e.g. shoulder buttons for roll and blue/2nd button for missiles. Also, supposedly the game includes the titular afterburner to speed up the plane but I can't for the life of me figure out how to activate it, basically tried the whole keyboard (and searched around the internet for instructions). Of course, I have no idea how much of a hassle it would be to implement all this controller stuff, so of course feel free to ignore this.
