Install ok but on my real A1200 PAL SYSTEM WITH GVP A1230 Turbo+ II @40 16 MB the game crash after worbench boot (in Yellow).... RGB signal lost and I must reboot my A1200. At the same time, I want to inform you that the same install on my ACA500plus on my A500 rev6A (512+512) in that case all works correctly, Bets regards, Pascal

 Hi,

can you test attached new slave with fast memory (without ExpChip tooltype)?

I found stupid bug in my slave (a cpu register not restored after RNC decryption :((((((((()

It will can cause crash with some memory configuration!! (but not with my config!!)

 On my A1200 040/40 the non Chip slave has the same or similar problem. The yellow-black WB/CLI screen appears for a very short time then the CRT monitor does some strange noise without any signal. Quit key works in this situation.

The Chip slave works fine so far. Need more testing but sounds seems to be played ok.

 With your latest Fast slave same problems without Expchip... But with ExpChip include the game works fine...

A1200 PAL SYSTEM WITH GVP A1230 Turbo+ II @40 32 MB GVP RAM (2 x 16 MB)... I don't know if there is impotant for You

 have you try with NoCache Tooltype?

Perhaps Self-modifing code not removed?

 Yes I had tried, no cache without any success... doesn't works too... only ExpChip seems to works

can you just follow next instruction?
1) replace in installed version (RNC) the file "DATA/S/startup-sequence" by attached file
2) Launch RNC version with last slave with RNC
3) see the miracle!!!

I have just remove buged "closewb" command. indeed this version close workbench but not reset workbench copperlist2 (dff084) at $10508
When file "wings' is loaded it erase adress $10508 with current copperlist2 (memory restored par "closewb" and so usable but copperlist2 not remove and ot is working...
so copperlist2 is replaced by crypted datas. So not correct copperlist instructions are written in DMA registers and crashed your system (curiously not winaue...)
I just a luck if "chip" slave works fine!! 'Wings' file is not loaded on current copperlist2 with CHIP version!!...

If it works fine for you.
I"ll rewrite slave juste to skip closewb!!
