Summary0004246: A problem with fast moving on-screen characters with V3.1 of Slave VS 2.0
DescriptionGameVersion: english,pal,2 disks
SlaveVersion: Version 3.1 (01.01.08)

A problem with fast moving on-screen characters with V3.1 of Slave VS 2.0 Slave. It makes it not possible to win Raiding or Rescue, or at least it does for me. Characters move too fast. I can't click or move fast enough to win as per normal, haha! 2.0 Slave is normal and everything else is playing as it should. I'm using Disk version. 3.1 Slave Trainer works very well...so far.

Wepl (manager)

Using option ExpChip may reduce the speed slightly.

Wepl is right. EXPCHIP should even revert speed to normal.

version 2.0 used only chipmem

Since 2.1: now uses 512K of chipmem and 512K of fastmem instead of 1MB of chipmem

that probably explains the issue. But it can be fixed without reverting to 1MB chip. I hate when 512K chipmem games must run on 1MB chip.

Also noted that with a fast processor the text is corrupt/has shifted bitplanes. Set CPU slower (in winuae) and everything is normal again. Checked blitwaits: no issues... can't be SMC since I didn't even enable JIT...
