Summary0003712: WHDLOAD Crash !!!
DescriptionThe game crashes if you crash into something. !!!

The Pilot animation is also missing. (the game thinks its only 512kb)
Soundtempo becomes to fast after a while in NTSC mode :(
Steps To ReproduceRight after you start with the the 1 mission, make a U Turn and fligh with
FULL THROTTLE into the Tigers claw for example.

BOOOMMMM

Whdload crashes on WHDLoad and real hardware.

error codes can all over the place. (depending on mission i guess)

Illegal instruction ($10) at $2244443A
or
Error Line 111 Emulation ...

stuff like that.
Additional InformationI only use the Whdload version because i want easy NTSC.

I haven't been able to crash but maybe i'm not doing it right (i don't even know the button for full throttle to crash into the mothership).

But one thing i've noticed about the 1.0 and 1.0 cd32 (and presumably 1.0 De) slaves: their support for mouse is really bad.

I'd expect a game like this to support mouse at least during the menu (ie: whenever the cursor is shown), in addition to the joystick. This doesn't work.

Strange things happen if you try to reconfigure the mouse.

Switching the default ports for the default joystick/mouse config, the cursor goes crazy and moves seemly by itself. If you try to disconnect the second (joystick) port and leave the mouse, same thing happens.

I'd like to request a investigation into this, if the slave is going to be updated. Ideally i could have both devices connected and use mouse optionally when the cursor is visible. Thanks for your wonderful work in WHDLoad guys.

BTW, @Nibbler i haven't been able to get it to crash probably because i'm on fs-uae.

It uses a amiga 1200 kick3.1 with 8mb fast ram config; for reference.

Hello there sco

to crash youre ship use the

Tabulator (press it a few times)

Fly out of the mother ship , TURN 180 and Tabulator youre way into the mother ship.

BAMMM, crash on real hardware and on various Winuae configs.
(i have the original image from wc but i tired a few other, olways the same problem)

Slave crash if you crash into something...

The only REAL reason why i use WHDLOAD for Wing Commander is , because i want eays NTSC.
( tempo needs to be fixed as well ) (tempo gets to fast after a while)

The error is serious and can be easyly reproduced on winuae and real hardware.

All of them using 3.9

Greetings Nibbler
