When the WHDLoad Installer was made years ago, there wasn't a challenge. The machine used with as zer040 and it wasn't an Amiga 4000 as I'm using now. Anyway, I have OS 3.5 and 3.9 BB3&4 installed. I have an Amiga 4000 Desktop using a CyberStormPPC and an Amiga 4000T using a zer040. I rarely use the zer040, anyway...after OS 3.5 or 3.9 are loaded, I start the demo and it plays well until Circles start to appear. When that happens there's a distortion at the bottom of the screen, like some graphic is attempting to join what's happening above. You could say it's as if the screen was too low but it isn't. A fluffy of those circles are happening below on the bottom of the screen and don't join the demo. The demo does not "continue on" because of it.
If I have my Amiga 4000 Desktop play it from floppy it plays fine. I don't have to disable any caches in the Pre-Startup-Sequence... Please have a look at it. Great demo, very fun still. If you want to ask me more questions...you have my Email address. Amiga forever! |
