Summary0003211: Only get "Error during resload_Relocate ..." errors after downgrade from AmigaOS 3.9 to Workbench 3.1
DescriptionI recently dusted off my Amiga 1200 (see http://amiga.sebastian-bergmann.de/about/ for the hardware) and started using it again.

Initially I installed AmigaOS 3.9 but was not really happy with that. However, with AmigaOS 3.9 WHDLoad worked fine for me (tried it with 20+ games).

I recently installed Workbench 3.1 and ever since WHDLoad does not work for me. Upon starting a game I get errors like "Error during resload_Relocate while relocating executable on address $400 at offset $33A54" (example from Superfrog CD32).

Before going through the hassle of installing AmigaOS 3.9 again I would like to make sure that this downgrade could indeed be the root of the problem. I am using the Kickstart images from Cloanto's Amiga Forever and the relocation files from skick346.lha as described in http://www.whdload.de/docs/en/need.html.

Just tested WHDLoad on the same machine but with AmigaOS 3.9 and it works.

Wepl (manager)

There should be no difference between 3.1 and 3.9 for WHDLoad.
Please make a dump and attach the .whdl_register file to this issue here.

Unfortunately not, sorry. You can close this if you want (I am not using AmigaOS 3.1 at the moment).

Ok, you can reopen the issue if the problem still persists.
