| Description | GameVersion: english,pal,4 disks SlaveVersion: 1.1 from 05.02.2004 The WHDLoad install seems to be incompatible with the early, A1200-incompatible version of the game. It'd be nice if not only this was supported, but it was made compatible too. I don't really like getting WHDLoad games illegally - apart from anything, transferring via a floppy drive is a nightmare, but I've had to in this case. The exact error I got was given by RawDIC on the first disk right at the beginning: "No sync signal on track 1". | ||||||||||||

I'd have to see images of your disks. SPS only lists two releases of StreetFighter 2, and my install supports both of them, unless of course you have a totally new version which of course I and SPS would like to image. |

Presumably you want IPFs? Or will the raw files copied off the disks do? I have the tool from SPS to make the "big" image from the disk, but obviously I can't transfer that into an IPF. As I said, I have an early version that gurus on boot with a purple screen filled with "US GOLD" on an A1200 (it took me a while, but I found a few references to it eg on Mobygames), but it'll be useful for non-AGA users, and AGA users too if you can figure out what they changed to make it compatible (heck, it might just be the copy protection causing it to fail). EDIT: Sorry, I don't know why I said "raw files" up there - I must have been getting muddled up with something else. What I probably meant to say was: could I copy it with RawDIC or DIC somehow? |

I'm currently dumping them with the SPS tools - looks like it's going to take forever, it's been 10 minutes already and I'm only half-way through the first disk... EDIT: Oh dear, I don't seem to have enough RAM (I do have 6MB... odd...) |
