well, no, and I have fixed this. But there are 2 versions: AGA and ECS. Are you running the ECS version?

To be honest, you made me doubt ;-) But I just tried again with my IPFs (that perfectly works on A500 WinUAE original configuration) and I download again the latest WHDLoad package for the game and the slave is already asking for 68020 through a pop-up window.

And about the installer script: it offers two choices, Floppy and CD32 version. But it never asks me if my floppy version is ECS or AGA... is it normal?

JOTD (developer)

no it's not. There's an old .slave which should have been removed. Now copy the ECS.slave into that one and that will work. I have to update the install script.

ixien (reporter)

Ok, of course perfectly working using the right slave. Thanks again ;-)

As this report is open, I just noticed a bug. The game freezes just after Bubble launched Squeak to scroll down the game logo. I continue my investigations.

So I made some tests. Title screen freeze on a real Amiga with 68000/7Mhz. Same problem on WinUAE emulating 68000/7Mhz. But on WinUAE, if I boost 68000 to 14Mhz, the problem disappear and the game start normally. Sometimes on 68000/7Mhz, when screen is frozen, it unfreeze pressing keys on keyboard but not everytime and I can't isolate the keys used (seems to change from a load to other). Attached is a capture of the screen frozen.

a new ticket should be opened for this, but what the hell... okay.

installation issue
and the freeze problem could not be reproduced with winuae A500/HD/7MhZ, so waiting for more details/another issue
