Notes |
Game manual attatched please include it for the next update. |
Please attach the core dump file. |
The maximum size of file I can send is 150 kB. Core dump files are much bigger... |
The .whdl_register file is enough, this file should be much smaller than 150 KB. |
Dump happens when code is "running" in the custom chip area which is completely strange. Either there is a problem on your end (wrong MaxTranfer, broken disk images f.e.) or something really weird happens on your machine. Which version of the game are you using? |
I have a preinstalled WHDLoad version. Maybe it is broken. I'll try to download it again or download other version. |
I downloaded the game from other site (WHDownload). It seems to be exactly the same archive as in Retroplay's collection. I tried to run it on my Amiga but I still have the same error (even after booting without startup-sequence and executing WHDLoad from shell). |
Please check your MaxTransfer settings! I am quite sure the problem is on your end. For a quick test, extract the archive to RAM: and run the patch then. If it works, your MaxTransfer settings are incorrect. |
Yesterday I tried running the game from RAM: and it didn't work. MaxTransfer is OK, hundreds of other games, demos and utilities work fine for years. |
As I can't reproduce this and the coredump doesn't help me to track down the problem, I will close this. I still suspect it's a problem on your end as no one else reported such a strange problem with the patch yet. |
