I've German MT-32 MIDI version and it works perfectly. (MIDI)
I tried to use the English version with MT-32 support and doesnt work the MIDI.
I added mt32.drv, serial.device, resource.cfg.... to the english version and nothing. :(
There're support for MT-32 for English version?

MT32 is not supported by english version afaik, not even when run from floppy disks with the required MT32 files added.

The good news is you can switch language to english in-game in the dropdown menu in the german version.
