I just tested on WinUAE with 68000 and it works without problems.
Perhaps you didn't press the button when following text appear:
'Inform the headquarters if you think you are the right one:'
(now press button - and next text appear)
'Identify yourself:'
(now you can type the name and press enter)

It seems it was the wrong image. I re-installed and now it works fine. Also the typewriter is correctly fast now, it was much slower before.

So this can be closed. Sorry for confusion.
