Can you create an extended ADF image using readadf (winuae tool run from a real amiga) ? or wwarp. But extended adf is probably better for protection.

I have made a CT RAW image using my Kryoflux board. Does this help?

if winuae can read them,yes!

Yes, WinUAE boots the game just fine and I can play it. Not sure if all tracks are still good, though, because of the age of the disk. Where should the image be uploaded? Mantis says there's a 150kb limit here...

Have you installed CAPSImg.dll? I have installed CAPSImg.dll from here: http://www.softpres.org/_media/files:spsdeclib_5.1_windows.zip?id=download&cache=cache

I'm using 64-bit versions of WinUAE and CAPSImg.dll. I think a missing or outdated CAPSImg.dll is the problem that causes your WinUAE not to recognize this image...

But WinUAE seems to use it. What does your log say? Mine says this:

ah okay, i had an old version in the path. Removed, it boots. But it locks up at the menu, though. Cycle exact makes it work!!

wow. okay :)

Yeah, it says version 4.2 but it should be 5.1. I guess you have another version of CAPSImg.dll installed somewhere on your system. I think Windows first scans certain system directories before opening a DLL from the program directory. So there's probably another copy of CAPSImg.dll in a system directory and that version is given priority. MD5 of my version of CAPSImg.dll 5.1.0.1 is 79b0078d27e5bc1de490289c45792ffe

Game works here. When the menu appears I press F1 and the game starts...

yeah it works with "cycle exact", thanks! wow that's solving a lot of future potential problems with ipf

you may want to submit your image to the SPS team because it doesn't seem to be dumped.

Yeah, I'll do that. Really strange that this hasn't been dumped yet because it's not exactly an exotic title. They only have the version with DOS tracks but this is what they often used for re-releases while the original release was MFM.

making progress on that.

boot uses one mfm format and main game uses other (blitter decoded)

The main code seems identical to the supported ADF version (except for floppy load of course). Code offsets are the same. Means that there were absolutely NO CHANGES in the re-release (just patches for floppy load)

Stingray had a look and it appears that the disk image is corrupt. Some sectors are bad => needs a proper dump.

I can try to clean the disk and dump it again but is there a tool to check for corrupt sectors? The Kryoflux GUI doesn't report any bad sectors because the disk uses a custom format...

yeah, here's Stingray imager with full track rip. You can run that with rawdic (whdload package)
