Very strange bug. I cannot play it with my Competition Pro. Intro and everything is working fine.
But in the game the characters seems to try to grab his back, which makes it unmovable.
No rapid fire active. Tested several Competition Pro.
Connecting a CD32 pad and this behaviour stops, game is now playable.
Connecting a Competition Pro (single fire) and it is no more working or let me say the character is trying to grab his back, looks funny. |

The CD32 buttons are disabled in the latest slave.
Could you test pls the attached slave2.3a ? CD32 buttons are enabled again. |

All 4 buttons are now working again on the pad, but the Competition Pro has again the same problem like in release 2.2.
Maybe a selection via custom tooltypes would make sense: One for Competition Pro and one for CD32 Joypad. |

I will test, yes it such one, but the original sold 20 years ago.
There is no modification or hack. I have a collection of Competition Pro, so I tested different ones with the same effect. |

It is working now, tested with a CD32 pad and my Competition Pro! :-)
2 other points:
1. if you press ESC the quit question appears but did not stay. look beneath
the hearths.
2. not important, but if you start with a connected Competition Pro it works.
If you connect in game a pad it works! but if you connect now again the Competition
Pro jumping (up) is no more working. But normally no-one is changing in the middle of
the game. |

New install package available on whdload.de
It will enable the up direction if joystick/pad is changed.
For the ESC quit question, I can not reproduce the issue. |
