The slave bombs immediately with Exception "Adress Error" ($B00C) at $1FE6A occurred.
I have tried to change NTSC/PAL, deactivate cache (with the A1200 menu that appears booting with the mouse buttons down). Also tried with the last stable version of WHDLOAD.
I did a disk image with Kryoflux of the disk and it works in WinUAE.

can you check the new slave? maybe it's a different version, in which case please link it from somewhere
