have you try with CUSTOM2 tooltype?

I have the same problem. The cursor pointer moves very slow (by a few pixels).
The CUSTOM2 switch doesn't help. Tried both Amiga mouse and PS/2 optical mouse connected to Amiga with Cocolino interface.

both reporter users have a 68040!
