I just updated to whdload 18.2 and am still having this problem.

I've tried:
SensibleWorldOfSoccer
SensibleWorldOfSoccer11
SensibleWorldOfSoccer9596
SensibleWorldOfSoccer9697
SensibleWorldOfSoccerEuro

All have the same issue.

Or am I doing something wrong?

Have you tried booting with no startup-sequence? I suspect your hard drive buffers are taking up slightly more room on real Amiga than winuae.

Yes, I've tried booting as minimal as possible.

Here are some images of that:

I'm using green amiga alien addition with radboot.

I suspect you're going to have to boot up WHDLoad without using the PRELOAD option in the icon.

The install uses all of 2meg chip ram, and the data from the two disk images has got to be at least 1.5meg+.

Shadowram is WHDLoad keeping a copy of your 2meg of chip ram before the game starts, so that when you quit back to dos, it copies the copy back to the correct place so that everything restarts properly.

Goto the main SWOS install directory and simply type "WHDLOAD swos.slave" (assuming the slave is still named that, and press return.

The install is being updated to allow the lower memory version of SWOS to run, so be patient, its going to happen :)

Not wanting to turn this into a tutorial about the finer points of WHDLoad, trying that I get:

"WHDLoad: file is not executable"

So I tried removing the PRELOAD from the icon, then running it from WB or minimal startup sequence. No joy.

It's a long wait since 2010, but I'll remain patient.

ps; this week was the annual SWOS world champ tournament.
